Weekend Voyage to Atlanta

Dearest Reader,

Last night Wire Hangers and a select group of fabulous friends made a voyage to Atlanta to see GIVERS + The Dirty Projectors. The plan was to leave early and go to H&M but we got extremely lost in NOT downtown Atlanta. But thanks to C’s impeccable navigation skills (or perhaps just her natural pull to Lenox Square Mall) we finally made it there before hand to pick up some super duper deals. Some of the best finds: $80 leather jacket from Zara and $10 acid wash pencil skirt from UO. After an outfit change on all ends (except C’s and Daydream Nation) we made it on down to The Masquerade for a jamming good time. And yes, girl crushes ensued.

take one: teddy lamson of GIVERS

GIVERS started out the night with popish, fun, pumpy…almost jam band…style music but still lovely enough for the fabulous friends to dance to. We recommend you go to their Myspace and listen to Up Up Up (dancing will occur.) Next was Dirty Projectors….nothing really to say except the girls in the band were fabulous and extremely talented- listen to them if you haven’t thus far- plus the leader singer has a super cool voice and was wearing a Lacoste cardigan (the love of our life!) Hope you enjoy the party pics.
